Introduction of working temperature of rolling bearing
1、 Material selection
1. Under normal working temperature (room temperature), general rolling bearings can be selected according to the national standard GB/T18254-2002 High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel.
2. When the working temperature of high temperature rolling bearing exceeds 300 ℃, materials can be selected according to YB688-2000 Technical Conditions for High Temperature Bearing Steel Cr4 MO4V.
3. Low-temperature rolling bearings (bearings with operating temperature below - 60 ℃) are usually made of stainless bearing steel 9Cr18 and 9Cr18Mo, which can be selected in accordance with the Technical Conditions for High-carbon Chromium Stainless Bearing Steel (GB/T3086-1982), or be made of beryllium bronze, ceramics and other materials.
2、 Heat treatment process
1. When high carbon chromium bearing steel is selected for general rolling bearing, its heat treatment process shall be in accordance with the national machinery industry standard JB/T1255-2001 Technical Conditions for Heat Treatment of High Carbon Chromium Bearing Steel Rolling Bearing Parts.
2. When the working temperature of high temperature bearing is higher than 300 ℃, it can be applied after treatment according to JB/T2850-1993 Technical Conditions for Heat Treatment of Cr4MO4V High Temperature Bearing Steel Rolling Bearing Parts.
3. Low-temperature bearing can be applied after treatment according to JB/T1460-2002 Technical Conditions for Heat Treatment of High Carbon Chromium Stainless Steel Rolling Bearing Parts.
3、 Operating temperature of rolling bearing
1. The working temperature of the ball bearing under normal working condition (room temperature) after the general bearing is made of high carbon chromium bearing steel and processed according to the above heat treatment process shall be controlled according to the requirements of relevant standards, that is, after passing the life and reliability test and evaluation.
A. For the test provisions, see the test conditions in Article 5 of JB/T50013-2000 Rolling Bearing Life and Reliability Test Procedure, Item 5.4: When the temperature of bearing outer ring is greased, it is not allowed to exceed 80 ℃; During oil lubrication, it is not allowed to exceed 95 ℃.
B. For the test and evaluation, see the test conditions in Article 6 of the national standard GB/T24607-2009 "Test and Evaluation of Life and Reliability of Ball Bearings", Item 6.2: When lubricating with circulating oil, the temperature of the bearing outer ring shall not exceed 95 ℃ generally; During grease lubrication, the temperature of bearing outer ring shall not exceed 80 ℃.
2. Bearing operating temperature under high temperature:
A. The rolling bearing shall be made of high carbon chromium bearing steel with operating temperature between 150 ℃ and 350 ℃. According to JB/T2974 standard, when the operating temperature is between 150 ℃ and 350 ℃, the suffix of bearing model can be marked with S0~S4 respectively.
B. The rolling bearing shall be made of high temperature bearing steel, and its working temperature can reach more than 300 ℃. The specific working temperature shall be given separately according to the working conditions.
3. Working temperature of low temperature bearing:
The rolling bearing is made of high carbon chromium stainless bearing steel, and its working temperature is below - 60 ℃. The specific working temperature is given separately according to the working conditions.
